Cookie policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. What this covers

This page explains how heyjune. uses cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage) on the website and installed app. You accept this policy when you create an account, together with our Terms and Privacy policy.

2. Cookies we use

heyjune uses cookies and local storage to run the service. These are not optional — you agree to them as a condition of using heyjune:

  • Sign-in session — keeps you logged in (Supabase authentication cookies)
  • Security — protects your account during auth flows
  • Preferences — theme choice and similar in-app settings
  • Analytics — anonymous page views and key product events (via Emort CMS) so we can see what works and fix what does not

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to track you across unrelated websites. Analytics does not run on localhost during development.

3. What analytics collects

Analytics data may include:

  • Page path visited
  • Referrer (where you came from)
  • Device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop)
  • Event names for product actions you complete (such as finishing sign-up)

4. Push notifications

If you enable pings, your browser stores a push subscription endpoint so we can notify you about household posts and similar activity. That is separate from analytics and only applies when you turn pings on in Settings.

5. More information

See our Privacy policy for how we handle personal data overall, and our Terms of service for rules of use.
